When Derek and Nadia Mattison came to 6DEGREES Films to birth a hero piece for their new Pasadena indoor golf facility, The House, we leaned into authenticity. Shot on 16mm by Brandon Hoeg, the film’s tactile grain became our ally—turning minimal grip and practical lighting into a warm, lived-in aesthetic.

We cast real friends (non-actors) to capture quiet, awkward moments of obsession that reveal a hidden community. DeAndre “Black D” Watson provides a seasoned, intimate VO that ties the vignettes together. This is less advertising and more an invitation: golf, quietly everywhere, now has a home.
